1、 Principle
The mixture of oxygen and fuel enters the combustion chamber for combustion, and the generated flue gas enters the circulating flue gas channel and then enters the combustion chamber for combustion again. The cycle is repeated multiple times to fully burn the fuel, improve combustion efficiency, reduce NOX and smoke emissions in the combustion products, and achieve clean and efficient combustion.
Due to the fact that both thermal type NOX and rapid type NOX come from nitrogen in the air, oxygen is used as an oxidant, and the generated NOX mainly comes from NOX in the fuel, which will greatly reduce the total emissions of NOX.
The oxygen coal flameless combustion technology is generally divided into three areas: diffusion zone, diffusion kinetic zone, and chemical reaction kinetic zone. The combustion process in the diffusion zone and diffusion dynamic zone is determined by the diffusion of substances or partial diffusion of substances, manifested as the occurrence of flames, such as the flame combustion technology of oxygen coal. The pure oxygen of oxygen coal combustion technology comes from liquid oxygen gasification, and high-pressure liquid oxygen easily obtains a near supersonic oxygen jet. The flue gas external circulation of oxygen coal flameless combustion technology is used for drying coal powder and conveying coal powder. Its flow rate is about twice the oxygen flow rate required for combustion, and the secondary air oxygen injection rate in the furnace is about 200m/s. It absorbs carbon dioxide from the primary air coal powder jet, achieving a strong internal circulation of flue gas of about 25 times. At the same time, due to the large sliding speed between coal powder and flue gas, full premixing of coal powder and oxygen can be immediately achieved.

Oxygen coal flameless combustion has the following advantages:
1. Save investment and operating costs;
CO2 conveying coal powder jet is beneficial for improving the stability of coal powder combustion in the furnace;
3. Significantly reduces the conversion rate of N to NO in the fuel (CO2 creates a reducing atmosphere), while also improving the reburning effect of NO in the circulating flue gas;
4. Adopting a flue gas recirculation system to improve coke burnout rate and reduce fuel costs.
Applying flameless combustion technology to coal powder combustion, accelerating industrialization, reducing the production of nitrogen oxides and other pollutants, is beneficial for alleviating environmental pollution pressure and improving the utilization efficiency of non renewable energy. Therefore, flameless combustion technology has strong advantages and broad application prospects.
