Maintenance of Burners in Asphalt Mixing Plant
1. Pressure regulating valve
Regularly inspect the fuel pressure regulating valve or pressure reducing valve to determine if the locking nut surface on the adjustable bolt is clean and removable. If the surface of the screw or nut is dirty or rusty, please repair or replace the regulating valve.
2. Oil pump
Regularly inspect the oil pump to determine if the sealing device is intact and if the internal pressure is stable, and replace damaged or leaking sealing devices. When using hot oil, check if all oil pipes have good insulation.
3. The filter installed between the fuel tank and the oil pump must be cleaned regularly and checked for excessive wear to ensure that fuel flows smoothly from the tank to the pump and reduce the possibility of potential component failures. The "Y" type filter on the burner should be cleaned regularly, especially when using heavy or residual oil, to prevent clogging of the fuel injector and valve. During operation, check the pressure gauge on the burner to see if it is within the normal range.
4. For burners that require compressed air, check the pressure device to see if the combustion chamber produces the required pressure, clean all filters on the supply pipeline, and check for leaks in the pipeline.
5. Check if the intake protection device on the combustion atomization fan is installed correctly and if the fan casing is not damaged or leaking. Observe the operation of the blades and adjust them to eliminate noise or vibration. For a belt pulley driven blower, regularly lubricate the bearings and tighten the belt to ensure that the blower can produce rated pressure. Clean and lubricate the connection of the air valve to see if the operation is smooth. When there are obstacles during operation, please replace the components. Determine if the wind pressure meets the working requirements. If the air pressure is too low, it can cause a backfire, causing the guide plate in the front of the drum and the material plate in the combustion zone to overheat.
6. The fuel injector should be cleaned regularly, and the Spark gap of the ignition electrode should be checked (about 3mm).
7. Regularly clean the flame detector (electric eye) to determine if it is installed correctly and if the temperature is appropriate. Incorrect location and high temperature can cause unstable photoelectric signals and even extinguish the fire.
